Screaming…Whizzing…Whirling… The Western Washington State Fair at Puyalup WA is almost over for another year. Tomorrow is the last day of its annual two week run. Here the cliff hanger is doing its ‘thing,’ spinning fair goers round and round, up and down for thrills. My daughter and I spent four hours walking the amusement section of the fair grounds last night, shooting long exposures of the rides. This morning my husband and I are going back to the fair to visit the exhibits. I have been attending the fair for over sixty years… love every minute of each visit! My favorite part of the fair are the 4-H exhibits, I was a 4-H-er when I was a kid. Oh.. and yes, I’ll be having a fair burger with lots of sauteed onions!
Great long exposure shot. Love the colors. I love country fairs but fried dough is my downfall!
beautiful Madge!!
Great shot! It was a blast shooting with you last night!
Very nice! I hope you make a print of that Madge, a big one.
I love this photo!! Did you do it at a trot or did you do it at a gallup? Did you do it real slow so your heart didn’t palpitate? :) LOVED going to the fair, although afternoon commute traffic on River Road always made my trip home those 2 weeks a bit of a pain. lol
Madge! These are SOOOO cool! I love your perspective!!!
