A warm customer sits at a wide open window in the bakery hoping to catch the summer breeze. The Essential Bakery Cafe at 1604 North 34th Street in the Wallingford neighborhood of Seattle is a popular spot for a coffee and pastry treat. Summer arrived late in Seattle, but it is in full swing now. Later this week the high temperature is supposed to rise to nearly 90, so catching a breeze will be a welcome refreshment for many around town.
love the reflection in the window, plus, just really love that window! enjoy summer, ours disappeared yesterday, lots o rain and today is only in the upper 60’s, yuck!
Thanks, Tanya…I’d take some rain and temps in the 60s…
Nice catch Madge – I agree on the reflection, adds a bit of summer’s green.
The reflection wasn’t planned, but a happy coincidence!
I really like the sign and the hanging hardware. Nice capture Madge.
I liked that too!
