Tidy… an adjective that would describe this small coil of wire fencing. Some small farmsteads are kept orderly, with a place for everything and everything in its’ place. Here a farmer has taken the few moments of time to coil up a short length of left over wire fencing and then hung it on the nearest fence post to await an alternate use or perhaps to repair a break in the line. Contrasted against the green of late summer and the white out of focus barn, this bit of seemingly inconsequential wire becomes an attractive scene!
I agree!
Great minds think alike! ;-)
Around here, it’s called, “keeping it from being run over by the tractor.” Great shot, Madge. :)
Thanks! You are SO right Nancy… my dad is probably rolling over in his grave that I would forget that one! Thanks for jogging my rusty farm girl memory! ;-)
very pretty.
Thanks… it is pretty in a very simply way, isn’t it?
Wire fences always make for interesting photos ~ very pretty!

True… they often lead our eyes around our photographic compositions, don’t they?
Nice capture Madge. All the elements work very well together.
Thanks, Bruce… so glad to hear you’re okay after hurricane Irene…
I agree with you Madge and well done for spotting it!
Thanks, Grace… we enjoy our ‘eyes,’ don’t we?? ;-)
