The morning sun rises behind the bridge of the F/V Cape Flattery, a fishing boat berthed at Seattle’s Fishermens’ Terminal in the Ballard neighborhood. The red ‘visor’ around the top of the bridge casts a scarlet glow over the windows below. I looked for information, but cannot tell you the purpose, it doesn’t appear to me that this boat has a flying bridge, but then again, I’m not an expert. Do you know the what and why about this red acrylic visor?
Love the dominate color and shadow play here. Wonderful!
Thanks, Doug… it’s hard to take a bad shot of a fishing boat…
You’re right Madge, it’s hard to take bad shots of any boat!
And we’re lucky, you and I, because we live where there are lots of boats to never get a bad shot of!!
