Nibbling on a Granny Smith apple, watching and waiting while mom buys a bag of freshly made Kettle Corn at the Burien Farmer’s Market. This sweet little girl and her sister (this is a double, tandem stroller) watch as their mom steps away for a moment. The Burien Farmer’s Market is a lot like most of the other local farmer’s markets held in each little town around the Puget Sound area. Perusing one is like perusing the next, each a delight of color, sound and scents of candles, produce, flowers, soaps, kettle corn, roasted corn, etc. I love the looking around and buying a bit of produce to take home for supper, it is always sad when they button up for the season. This year the Burien Market closes on October 9, still a few weeks to enjoy the offerings.
That’s a big apple for a little girl! Cute.
I thought so too, but she made a pretty good ‘dent’ in it!
