Summer Sunset Behind Safeco and Century Link Fields</strong>

A summer sunset glows shades of pink and orange as the day wanes behind the two professional sports stadiums in Seattle. Safeco Field to the left is home to the Mariners Baseball team; it was built in the SODO (South Downtown) neighborhood of Seattle. The inaugural game was on July 15, 1999. CenturyLink Field to the right is home to the Seahawks Football team where they played their first pre-season game on August 10, 2002. The football stadium was initially named Seahawks Stadium, then Qwest Field, and just recently in late July, it became CenturyLink Field when Qwest merged with CenturyLink.
