Warm weather brings out boogie boarders to Alki Beach. Alki Beach is the only beach within the downtown area of Seattle and a very popular spot for tourists and locals alike to enjoy the beach scene. Here a young man braves the cold water of Elliott Bay to skim across the shallow surf.
I think it looks like a lot of fun, but a good sense of balance would be an asset. I’m not sure it would be my sport of choice, what about you?

Great shot Madge, brings back memories!! My son is a bodyboarder from way back, in Oz they surf all year round, with the addition of wetsuits in Winter.!
He sounds very athletic… around here the water is just way too cold in the winter for surf sports…
