Got it!! This beautiful young dog was entertained and exercised by his owner throwing a stick repeatedly into Puget Sound at Point-No-Point near Hansville, WA. The water is a rich ultramarine blue and so inviting on a hot summer day. Today is the annual Seafair Hydroplane races on Lake Washington, with the Navy’s Blue Angels in their F/A 18 Hornets (fighter jets) entertaining at 13:30 during the intermission. Our family is BBQ-ing hotdogs, hamburgers and I’ll be making a potato salad and chips. What is your family doing today?
GORGEOUS!
Yes, he was one handsome dog … he and the saturated ultramarine blue, a knockout! ;-)
Nice looking dog and the water does look very inviting.
Yes… my husband and I were picnicking at Point-No-Point when the owner and dog came along and played on the beach and in the water… of course I couldn’t let the photo op pass by!
He looks very content with his exercise at the same time enjoying it.
Yes.. he was a happy dog!
A lovely shot, and today I was shooting beetles on the beech while my wife getting her nails done. My 4 dogs spent most of the day sleeping.
I got my nails done today too… by ME! My dog has been busy all day..
Wow! I wish I were in the water with! Not sure I could fetch a stick, though!
…with him…that is!
I don’t think I’d could catch a stick on land or water… lol!
He looks like my old English Springer Spaniel, R.I.P. They are good fetching dogs.
Sorry for your loss… it is so hard, we love them so much!
He really looks like he was enjoying it. Spent the day showing some visitors around town and going for a nice brunch!
Sounds like an enjoyable day…
Adorable dog.
Yes… I agree!
Except for going out to get a picture, I am staying indoors. Great shot of the dog, it reminds of me my springer.
Going out for to shoot an photo… isn’t that what we like?? I’m sure your springer spaniel was sweet.
Just look at those eyes, he is so adorable, what a great best friend to have!
He was sweet!
Thanks for calling in to my “By Stargoose And Hanglands” blog and leaving a comment. I’m very impressed by your very professional-looking site and will certainly visit again.
I’m not a dog-owner but that’s one faithful hound you’ve pictured.
Thanks John… I’ll look forward to your next visit!
Great close up! Today I spent in the garden, cutting up branches that had fallen down in a storm.
I like spending time in my garden… even when it is to clean up… glad you found the time to stop by.
Is that my puppy?
Is it?? Lol!!
Oh, I never tire of happy doggy pictures! So cute.
Yes, I agree, there is something SO appealing about a happy dog!!
Nice to see somebody – either animals or people! – being able to use the water. So often there’s “no swimming” signs posted these days along public beaches because of pollution, which is disappointing. Pretty waves!
I know what you mean… we hear that all too often as well.
Fun to play fetch with our four legged friends.
Yes.. I agree… I just wish I could throw better..! Lol!! ;-)
