An old, restored tug boat, the Sally S, passes under the University Bridge. Summer failed to launch for weeks. Until yesterday, Seattle only had 66 minutes of eighty degree plus weather since June 21, 2011 and THEN there was summer! The high yesterday was 83 degrees and the boaters and kayakers and sunbathers came out around Seattle in droves! It was a great day to live in the Northwest… ahhhh. Oh… and then there is today… it is 60 degrees, raining with lightning and thunder, short lived summer weather. Somebody fire that weatherman!
It was a beautiful couple of days wasn’t it? I always know its been nice weather (and that I’m a Washingtonian) when I’m ok with a day of clouds and rain because the sun was SO beautiful.
I agree Christina… except I’d love some summer to enjoy before school starts on September 1…
