Ghostly Antelope Rest in Freezing Fog ~ Early one morning enveloped in a freezing fog, my husband and I were driving north on US 97 in north central Oregon. I asked to stop to take a photo of the sign indicating we were crossing the 45th parallel (halfway between the equator and the North Pole). As I finished taking a shot or two, my husband quietly got my attention to tell me to look east across the road, I did, and I saw a small herd of Antelope resting quietly in the frozen grass. A couple of them stood up taking notice of my interest in them. Luckily, I managed to get a couple good shots before they became alarmed and disappeared into the foggy high desert landscape.

I think this one would make a beautiful Christmas card. :-)
Never gave that any thought, but yes, it certainly would! :-)
