Georgetown Records only buys LPs, 12 inch singles and 45s, no CDs or DVDs. But they sell new and used music of all genres in LPs, 12 inch singles, 45s and CDs of local artists only. Saturdays, from 12 to 5, you will find a buyer on the premises to purchase your records, and on other days by appointment only. Opening their doors in 2004, they are located on Airport Way South on the corner of South Vale Street. They often host gigs in their store for fans to enjoy. Georgetown is one of the historic neighborhoods of Seattle, and is filled with old red brick buildings, here I caught their storefront window in the waning light of spring.
