Smoke Plus, Inc. - Storefront Window

Several blocks south of the Pike Place Market on First Avenue, you see many small storefronts housing some unusual businesses. One of those is Smoke Plus, Inc., a small business that caters to the slowly shrinking customer base of smokers. Seattle is very restrictive about the public use of tobacco products, no smoking areas include planes, restaurants, and ballparks. As of one year ago, if you smoke you must be 25 feet away from another public park patron to smoke in a public park and you cannot smoke on public beaches, picnic nor play areas. The current 2011 legislative session has entertained two bills to legally permit ‘cigar bars,’ where those who smoke them could come in from the cold and sit down in a civilized manner to enjoy their chosen stogie, but neither bill came to the floor of the legislature for a vote.
