Another image
from before sunrise on Tuesday of this week.
Here the West Seattle Water Taxi
is on a return trip from downtown about two miles off in the distance
back towards the Seacrest Marina on Alki Beach in West Seattle.
Called the ‘Doc Maynard,’
it is named after one of Seattle’s
founding pioneers.

The city streets behind the taxi
are still very dark as they step down like building blocks
from Fourth Avenue to Alaskan Way,
fun driving down,
up is dicey if you still drive a stick shift,
holding your vehicle suspended
on the steep incline with your brake
and clutch!
It always made me so nervous!

~Blessings Always~
I bet the water taxi transports lots of people during their day.
Stunning – you always get the very best shots.
