Wa·ter Tow·er : wôdər tou(ə)r
: [noun] : a tower supporting an elevated water tank, whose height creates the pressure required to distribute the water through a piped system.
: : :
Now sitting above
an old riverside warehouse
(these days it is CleanScapes, a recycling company)
along the Duwamish River in south Seattle is this old water tower,
covered in cell phone and other antennae and at least two cameras,
one pointing at the river.
: : :
I wonder if the tower still holds water,
it looks rather dilapidated,
I don’t think I’d want to drink water that came from it,
would you?
~Blessings Always~
I’d rather not drink water from that tank – but it is being put to a good use for the tech equipment – better than erecting one more unsightly cell phone tower.
It’s pretty easy to see that it’s located in a damp climate! And, “No, I don’t believe I would want to drink water from it.” Great shot, though.
