Pro.ces.ing Fish : Processing fish involves primarily the application of preservation techniques in order to retain quality and increase shelf life.

Here,
at Fishermens Terminal
in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle,
a commercial fishing vessel is tied up.
She is a processor, not an actual fishing vessel.
She was built in Maine in 1977,
is 170′ long, has a beam of 37′ and carries 961 tons of fish.

The deep colbalt blue paint
and the rusty swirls caught my eye in the bright,
chilly sunshine which created
deep shadows.

Love those colours.
I am ambivalent at best about fish processing though. I suspect it is another resource we are ‘over-using’. And often wasting.
Fabulous colors and composition. You have a good eye for the unusual.
Great in colors, I enjoy this photo.
Have a nice sunday
