Autumn drifting away and muted by the golden water of a slow moving stream. Do you enjoy standing on a small bridge, watching a lazy creek flow past underneath you? I do. This bright sunny autumn day, I did just that, stood on a small bridge and shot down into the creek as it flowed over the golden sand, making the water appear to be liquid amber. And then there it was, a maple leaf drifting by just under the surface and on its way to where it would eventually rest and decay.
so very beautiful and yes, i love standing on a bridge or on the bank and watching things float by in the water.

I was taking some leaf photos this morning and thinking how they have a short time before they turn back into the soil. Standing there on the bridge had to be so very peaceful.
It was peaceful… I love it when I can take the time to go mosey around with my dog as co-pilot and camera in hand.
