Last summer
a good friend of mine
invited me to come and take photographs
of her thriving, lush garden.

Among a variety of vegetables,
she planted flowers of different kinds.
Here, I’ve captured a magenta zinnia,
up close and personal.

that is an amazing close-up of the zinnia- also I love that color!
Wonderful detail.
I grew zinnias from seed for the first time last year…Cut and Cut Again variety. They were fabulous…hot pink, bright gold, etc. I bought more of the same seed this year…they are the standard zinnia colors, and they are small! I’m so disappointed. I would love to have a wonderful magenta one. :-)
Stunning.
Was going to say it looked like something beautifully handmade from fabric. Then I realized it was. From the fabric of nature by the Hand of God.
Your macro capture is exquisite.
I would have to say one of your best shots. Stunning.
Fantastic details in the pic.
WOW! Brilliant photo indeed!
What a lovely color and superb macro shot!
