Satus Pass Traffic at Dusk

Oncoming semis northbound on Satus Pass, festooned with lights, look like a parade in the waning light at dusk. Satus Pass, located along US Highway 97, this photo was taken on the upgrade heading south on its southern stretch in the State of Washington. At an elevation of 3,107 feet, the pass sees ice and snowy conditions every winter, but is open and passable to traffic all year.

- Linda: What pretty water!
- gtyyup: What a peaceful scene…nicely done! My problem is that I never take time to make anywhere a destination…maybe someday I’ll figure out how to do that!

- Randy: Very cool.
- Robyn: I am cold blooded and like the 70′s-80′s. I have been fishing once, kind of. The Hubby goes every once in a while with his cousin. I love the fresh catch. We watch Duck Dynasty...

- Teresa: Great shot! I’m amazed how vibrant those colors are in the reflection.
- Don: These colors “pop” and give this shot a very strong eye-catching ability. Excellent image.
- Coal Miners Mural – Rurality Blog Hop #13 (40)
- Rick Watson: I grew up in a coal mining community in Alabama. We actually have a coal mining museum here. Also, I loved Northern Exposure. We bought the box set of three seasons.
- Don: A fine shot of this beautiful mural. I still remember those programs. As I recall, the programs were very well done and very popular.
- Mellow Yellow Barn (17)
- Nature in the Burbs: Quite charming!
- Karen: Haven’t stopped by in awhile. I always love your view of the world where you live and I love barn photos. The soft yellow really makes this one a winner!!
