Here,
very late in the afternoon,
the cold wind off the Pacific Ocean whips my dress around my legs
and the waxing tide rushes toward the high tide mark
for the second time in 24 hours.
Looking down at the sand under my bare feet,
I see there are literally hundreds of some type of jellyfishes
washed ashore up and down the beach.
Why, I wonder?
This one in particular I’ve shot straight down
through the transparent fish
into the beach sand
below.

Oh, wow, cool capture!!
Absolutely stunning!!!!
One of your best!
How strange to see such a transparent jellyfish–I only find blue ones here. Sometimes, the beaches are littered with their little corpses, but I just assumes it’s part of nature’s natural course.
it reminds to some books, we bougt in germany 15 years ago. they were in 3D and at first view nearly anbody saw nothing. at second view everybody said:, no cried out:
“oooooh, aaaah, marvellous, nooooo, what a pretty…. and so on!”
