Yesterday,
while out shooting along the Palouse River north of Colfax,
I happened to look down
and caught a glimpse of my shadow,
bright orange shoes and black and white print dress.
For some unknown reason, I liked it,
so I shot it,
and now you have to tolerate
my childish whim…
a shadow selfie.

Off today driving southeast to Asotin,
the southeastern most corner
of Washington state.

Lovely whimsy. Next time I look down and the sun is overhead, perhaps I will find a shadow selfie as well.
