Here,
just prior to dawn,
these brightly colored red rods sit in a reflecting pool
in front of the new ‘Home Plate Center’ Building
on the corner of First Avenue South and South Atlantic Street,
kitty corner from the home plate entrance to Safeco Field,
the Seattle Mariner’s stadium.
