Today,
while watering one of our gardens,
I needed to adjust the trajectory of the spraying water
so I wouldn’t be paying to ‘water the fence.’

Shutting the water off,
I walked back to the sprinkler
and noticed the water had saturated the leaves of one of my sage plants.

The droplets
looked like jewels in the strong,
hot summer sunshine,
so I went in the house and got my camera and took a shot or two,
this was the result.
