Our weather
has been sizzling hot around Puget Sound these last couple of days
and will remain so for the foreseeable forecast,
with highs in the low 90s.
Hot weather brings out the boaters,
of all kinds.

Here,
a fellow has just finished
canoeing around Alki Point in West Seattle
and is heading back to his vehicle in one of the large parking lots
along Alki intended for boaters,
but used by photographers as well…
namely me.

Aah, as a youth we used to sink our metal canoe to bring up the colder water from the depth of our 3 acre lake when the top layer became warm….I rather miss doing that. Great shot.

A beautifully looking canoe…I would love to touch its surface…so smooth. I wanted to buy one for my husband… he changed his mind… maybe next year:) He has always wanted one. Great shot!
