Pike Place Market, a fun place for a day trip.
: : :
Here,
a family pauses in front of the newsstand at the market
while on an outing.
: : :
The market offers so much to see,
flowers, vegetables, meats and seafoods . . .
there’s candies, sausage, and cheese . . .
Starbucks and pirogi,
and you can walk off
most of what
you eat!

Nice use of the strange perspective of a fisheye lens. It turns the everyday into something wonderful.
What a great shot, Madge…on our way home next week, I am going to have my camera handy when in the airport!!!…:)JP
The Market sounds like a great place to start the weekend. I have never been to a market like that and thing it sounds fun.
That’s a fun one Madge!
Really cool shot! The fisheye lens really makes it unique and it looks HDR.
I haven’t been to the Pike Place Market in several years. I’ve enjoyed every visit. Your description is very good. The smell of the market is unique and something one never forgets.
Pike Place Market is on my list of places to see. There really is a lot to see and do in Seattle, should I ever get there. ;)
Markets are such fascinating places…especially the old indoor farmers markets that sell meats, etc. I know my friends in Buffalo will be flocking to the Broadway Market this weekend. An old tradition and something similar to Pike Place but with all the foods and sundries for making a traditional Easter special. Right down to the butter lambs.
Hope your weekend is blessed, Madge!
Very creatively done and so colorful ~

Would love to visit there.
Nice picture of the famous Pike Place! BTW, I posted the Top Shot logo in a sepia version so that it wouldn’t detract from my moody-looking photo. Hope that’s okay.
I’ve been trying to link up and keep getting an error message – maybe you could check and see if there is an error – or maybe I did something wrong – but it has always worked before. Thanks.
Love the Pike’s Place photo – that is a grand place to visit.

Busy and colorful. I love this fisheye lens shot.
I’ve heard so much about this market. It would be so much fun to visit!
Cool photo! Kinda makes my eyes swimmy :)
