12th Man Lights at CenturyLink Field - Seattle WA

Caught from a moving vehicle, Seattle shows some 12th Man pride.

:  :  :

A week or so ago,

my husband was obliging to my photographer’s ‘need’

to capture some 12th Man pride around Seattle.

Here,

while doing the 40 mph speed limit down the Alaskan Way Viaduct,

I bumped my ISO to 6400

to get a shutter speed fast enough to capture this shot

on the fly.

:  :  :

Seattle is awash with pride that our Seahawks

are making their second bid to

win the Super Bowl.

:  :  :

This new building

built this year at the north end of the stadium

shows Seahawk spirit by opening and closing blinds

and turning on and off lights to form

a huge #12.

:  :  :

You can also see

the blue stadium arches reflected in its windows.

:  :  :

I cannot imagine

how Seattle and the northwest will erupt

if/when

we win

Super Bowl

#48,

on Sunday

February 2nd.

GO HAWKS!
