Seahawk fever is rampant
and growing exponentially around Seattle these past couple weeks.
Actually,
it has been a spreading phenomena that boarders on fanaticism.
Notice that the word begins with ‘Fan,’
and there are huge numbers of fans not only in Seattle,
but around the northwest and around the world where the 12th Man are flung far and wide.

Last night,
my husband drove me up to Kerry Park
on Queen Anne Hill just north of downtown to shoot some images of the Space Needle
dressed for the playoff game today against the San Francisco 49ers.

We also stopped at CenturyLink field
on the way home and I was surprised to find it buzzing
with fans and activity.
Satellite vans
for TV stations from California were already in place.
Splashed on the side of one van was
‘NBC Bay Area.’

The 49ers are an excellent team,
but the Hawks are better!
One more win
and it’s off
to the
Superbowl,
baby!
