Here,
along an empty stretch of two-lane blacktop road in eastern Washington,
I saw this familiar sight ~
birds perched on power lines.
: : :
But this time,
I saw something just a bit different.
In my imagination,
the black silhouettes of the the birds
reminded me
of
musical notes
on
a
staff.
