pastel and beautiful.

(1) This past week I bought off eBay a 12 volume set of ‘The Expositor’s Bible Commentary,’ for $110, that’s over $400 off.
(2) I enjoy scenting my home with an electric warmer and some Yankee Candle ‘Cranberry Chutney’ wax melts.
(3) I love to bake, but not cook.
(4) I love to read, but not fiction.
(5) Our Christmas tree is an artificial one.

How beautiful is that! How blessed we are that God gave us not just color, not just the primary colors or secondary colors, but so much variety, such nuance of color. Great buy, btw. Did you know you can get Matthew Henry’s Commentary, complete for your Kindle for .99 to 2.99?? And I too have a hard time getting into fiction unless it’s by Jane Austen or Willa Cather. I always feel like I need to be learning something. I enjoyed your Random 5 also.
Yesterday we flew into the sunrise to Chicago then into the sunset as we landed in North Dakota, both beautiful in their own way. I was wishing I had left my camera out to take pictures of it all. You capture the beauty with your camera and for that I am thankful…so glad I stopped by. Happy Thanksgiving.

I like to bake too and sometimes cook although not when I’m tired.
I like to read too but I read both fiction and non-fiction depending on the subject matter.
Sadly we have an artificial tree too. Hubby is allergic to the real ones, I miss them.
