Buoys, bright and colorful, intended to be seen in all manner of weather.

Here,
some colorful buoys are draped over the side of the F/V Lady Kate,
a pretty green fishing boat,
she is a tender, meaning that she shuttles fish from boats to the processor,
and she hails out
of Seattle.

I’ve highlighted buoys in my blog posts several times in the past,
but was attracted to the green buoys shown here…
they’re just a bit unusual,
I don’t know that I’ve ever seen green buoys before.

Again,
I was going to look up the stats
about this vessel on the US Coast Guard website,
but it is down due to the Federal Government shutdown.
