Amusement rides, intended to entertain and thrill riders.

Last night,
my daughter Amanda and I went to the Washington State Fair
(we’ll always call it the Puyallup Fair, regardless of how they change the name)
to ‘shoot’ the rides and midway games.
: : :
Unfortunately,
we arrived about 21:30 (she had to work until 19:00)
and only had an hour and a half
to cover a lot
of ground.
: : :
That aside,
we still had a good time together.
Here,
is one of the vintage rides at the fair,
the Wave Swinger, swirling fast.
The shadows of some riders
sitting in their chairs suspended on chains
moving across the face of the ride
as the colors swirl
and move
in a long exposure.

I would be easy to spot. I would be the one getting sick.
Exquisite photo! Really nice! Wonderful colors!
Beautiful vivid orange/red — wishing you a safe and happy week Madge.
A fine shot at the fair that is not the typical kind of subject. Excellent innovation.
Wow – this is such a cool shot!
