View from the Cemetery - Freeze Church - Freeze ID

Freeze Community Church is a very rural, white clapboard church which has graced the top of this ridge for over 100 years.

Freeze is no longer a town.

Just the church survives of what once was a small pioneer community in west central Idaho.

Here on a cold early spring mid-day, the sun shines brightly.

I spent time walking the small cemetery and enjoying being able to sit inside the church,

to sing a few hymns and listen to the wind as it whistled and moaned.

I’m sorry if you’ve come by earlier today

only to discover that I hadn’t put up a Rurality Blog Hop post yet.

Wednesday, it IS Wednesday!

I can’t believe that I forgot what day of the week it was again.

Sheesh…
