Mornings can be full of color or have none at all.

Here, on a late winter morning,
the colors in the morning sky over downtown Seattle are pastel hues.
Looking north along Piers 20 and 18 on the left and Piers 28 and 30 on the right
give a glimpse of part of the working waterfront in Seattle.
I worked many years at Piers 20 and 18 on Harbor Island, handling import and export goods of all kinds.
I never tired of looking up and seeing a 800 foot ship glide silently into berth.

Linking up with ‘Tuesday Muse‘ at Nancy’s place,
sorry Nancy,
I didn’t have the energy to search for a texture today…

Gorgeous! Love the perspective! xx
Awesome shot Madge!
Stunning!!!
I love the moody time of day here and dramatic clouds.
I like this shot. I reminds me of some of the early impressionists painters.
Wishing you An Extraordinary Day!
The blues really stand out..”Double Hull” is the same color as the patch of blue in the sky♫ Nicely done!

A fine capture of the unusual early morning colors. The scene is peaceful looking, but that may be deceptive.
Beautiful! It really does add a bit of drama with those colors.
Amazing – I’d love to see the big ships gliding into port.
Great lighting and colors Madge. Hope you back out shooting soon.
This is wonderful. I love the sweeping clouds with the subtle colors, the birds flying about and the boats. It’s very visually interesting.
It really pays to get up on mornings as beautiful as this one!
Madge, another drop dead beautiful photo…absolutely beautiful!
No apologies needed Madge — your photo is beautiful just as it is. Hope you are feeling better today. xo
Gorgeous, Madge! I grew up in Jax FL and saw many a Navy ship glide into port. Those big ships always amazed me with how graceful they are.
Breathtaking image – awesome mood!!
wish you a lovely week, Magde.
