Buoy and Reflection – Weekly Top Shot #82

Buoy and Reflection - Fishermens Terminal - Seattle WA
Reflections created in water can be mirror-like, a rough distortion or so rough as to disappear in the choppy waves.

:  :  :

I’ve taken you for numerous visits to one of my favorite places in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle, Fishermens Terminal.

No matter the weather,

I enjoy the vessels, colors, smells, sounds and people you see

while walking the docks between the commercial fishing vessels berthed there.

:  :  :

Unfortunately,

I don’t remember the name of the vessel that I’ve caught part of today.

Usually I have a really good memory for these things, but this one escapes me.

The bright primary colors of the hull make the fluorescent orange of the buoy really pop.

Don’t you agree?

  1. Absolutely amazing focus , Madge. Beautiful color and composition … I won’t be linking up this week; I just don’t have time to visit other blogs, and I don’t think it would be right of me to post without visiting other posts.
