Brushes at the Ready on a Crab Boat - Fishermens Terminal - Seattle WA

Boats must carry everything needed on board, including cleaning items.

:   :   :

At Fishermens Terminal in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle,

a crab boat deck boss has thought of the need to keep the deck clean, so a couple of large,

long-handled scrub brushes are kept close at hand to be used at a moments’ notice.

Again this week we’re visiting Fishermen’s Terminal.

I would like to be out there shooting today, but am home,

quiet and jumping now through a new health hurdle.

Pneumonia.

Please be patient with me,

as I may not be able to get around to visiting all of you this week on WTS #79.

I am putting my energies into getting well.

Pneumonia! Oh, no! Even if you feel you can, don’t push yourself to do anything! Notch back everything to “easy” and then notch it back a few more steps after that. Nothing’s more important than getting better. Rest. Eat well. Rest more. Sending healing prayers and thoughts your way.

  2. Oh I hope you are seeing some better days…thinking and praying for you! I have a similar brush I use on the back deck…which reminds me that I haven’t given it a good scrub in about 2 years. I believe I’ll be attacking some moss this weekend…LOL
