Trinity Nightclub in historic Pioneer Square of downtown Seattle, entertains patrons three nights a week.
: : :
Every Thursday,
Friday and Saturday nights you will find those seeking a rocking nightclub experience flocking to this venue.
This week, the club celebrated their eight anniversary with special events.
: : :
I’m not a nightclubber,
oh I went to my share of bars where you could dance when I was in my twenties,
but since, naw, not so much.
Really, not at all.
: : :
Regardless of liking or not the nocturnal activities of clubbers,
I definitely do like the neon Chinese lantern illuminating the entrance above the doorway.
Many, if not most of the old buildings in historic Pioneer Square are made of red brick,
I love all the warmth, the reds and yellows and the textures, shadows and highlights as the neon drenches them with color.

Today is ‘Tuesday Muse,’ over at my good friend Nancy’s place,
‘A Rural Journal,’ and I’m sharing along with creating a textured image.
I took my original image and overlaid it with some Chinese characters.
I have no idea what it says,
hopefully something nice and not naughty,
fierce or rude!
Stop over at Nancy’s to view other entries…

Your original is stunning, Madge, and I love the way you’ve added the Chinese characters overlay, very artistic!
love all that red
it’s pretty, but it almost reminded me of a church lantern. :)
The red and black work very well together in this shot.
Love the bright colors to the lantern. Been a long time since I’ve been out dancing…
I like the original and your addition of the Chinese script is fun.
Terrific shot. I don’t club anymore either;-)
I love the colors!
Excellent colors.
What an intriguing photo! I love it!

Oh, it’s such a gorgeous Chinese lantern! Love both shots!
Love what you’ve done here Madge! Thanks for sharing dear! xo
The red glow in your shot is wonderful. We’re no longer party-ers either. I can’t imagine being out late enough to even get started!
wonderful images Madge!
I really like that neon Chinese lantern too!
Nightclubbing?!? Shoot, we go to bed before 9 PM most nights! ;)
