Hey ya’ll, I’m Red,
Born and raised in Washington State by two creative parents, I joke that I’ve had plaid, pine needles, and coffee flowing through my veins since birth. I followed closely in my mom’s footsteps, picking up creative mediums as soon as my hands could grasp them. I got my first taste of photography over 20 years ago and have had my work plastered on walls, printed in calendars, and cherished by many folks over the years. 2016 unintentionally opened a whole new world of exploration and adventure when I bought a Toyota FJ Cruiser on a whim… Off-roading to new heights and camping in the wilderness has taken over the majority of my free time. I’m excited to share the expansion of my skill set and regale you with spectacular photographic tales of my adventures. You’ll find funny stories, breathtaking photos, and creative videos in my blog, as well as photographic services for real estate agents, and pet portrait services.
You might have seen another name on some of the archived posts… For 14 years, this website was maintained by my mom, Madge Bloom. An accomplished professional watercolor artist, she’s also a freelance photographer. Her work focuses mostly on life in the Pacific Northwest through views of big city lights, quiet small town charm, and rural or agricultural areas. She’s had her work published in books and magazines, as well as other media over the years, and she’s sold countless prints to individuals all over the world. I’m excited to carry on the adventure.
